“Daddy,what’s an Adventure?”
Flying on an Intl flight via man different airlines, makes you appreciate how intricate the whole system is.
We were stranded in CVG, due to weather at ORD. I’m not really phazed at all. The flight was late by 1 hour, but Delta’s policy is not to hold International departures for late arriving flights.
The nice thing is that we’re put up at a pretty decent hotel by the airport.
This morning, I had a grand plan of going to the local children’s museum and malls. However it was shot down due to the lack of rental cars.
Now we sit in the airport with our DS, Laptop, Touch, iPhone and DVD player to fill in the 7 or so hours that we need to get to the gate. Its just like home, with the addition of a Yamaha Disclavier [sp?] playing nice Christmassy music and the Starbucks righ in front of us, wafting their yummy wares in our direction.
