The techie’s way of getting the great deal on eBay
All my golf clubs were purchased on eBay. Some new, some used. I’m probably not really cheap, I just love the bargain and the hunt.
Here’s how I usually do it.
- Know how much you’re willing to pay. Now, knock it down 10%. 15% make me happiest.
- Search for the items on eBay. Now on the left click “Completed” and check out how many have been sold and at what price.
- Watch out for fakes and obvious scams (type SCAM in the ebay search bar for more help in avoiding them)
- If you find a bunch of legitimate buyers, get ready for the hunt.
- It is unimportant on where the items are, just make just the shipping rates are fair.
- Now get an account at http://gixen.com and create a snipe for each of the auctions and use the “Group” function. This makes sure that you only get one item.
- That’s it. Sit back and relax.
What this does is forces you to not overbid or go over on your wanted price. If you don’t get it then you’re just too cheap.
