Cooked Meat
We went to our friendly neighborhood Mexican restaurant today.
I opted for the Carne Asada which is Hywell’s favorite food order there.
It tasted like plain grilled meat. No taste, no good. I sometimes wonder how much work it takes to make food consistenly good. I like the place but it has definitely lost a notch or two in my lunch choices. I’ll probabaly just order my usual Eggs and Chorizo the next time…
Theme Change
Time for a theme change. Found a few fine themes, but none perfect.
So I’ve found one that I like that I can edit the PHP files to make it do what I need. Yes, Tom, this was how I broke Wordpress before…
I tried writing a theme myself but it was not too easy defining the sidebars. I tried to make a simple one and improve it after it was done but the graphics never worked out right. Also, my webhost kept caching my site so I had to keep switching the themes back and forth to make it update the screen.
Right now, I’ve chosen Acid Green Pro by Linkrain. Its almost what I need, a color change here, a font change there, a picture swap above and I should be happy for the next 3 months. I’ll need to tip him if it works out well, since I know how much of a pain it is!
Switch
My new golf irons set arrived today.
Its exactly like the previous one except the shaft are different. I switch clubs on average once ever 16 months. I tell everyone that that’s not true. In the past 15 years, I’ve played with 9 iron sets. 5 different drivers, 6 fairway/hybrid woods and 3 putters.
My putter, the Titleist Scotty Cameron has been with me for more than 3 years! A definite record. I should document my changes.
