Tea (Sweet)

Posted on January 31st, 2007 in by ChrisLim

I think I’ve drunk about 3 litres of sweet tea in the last couple days.

I believe I’m slightly addicted to it. Might as well be addicted to sweet tea than something that will kill me I guess.

Reservations (Broken)

The hotel we stayed in last week somehow bumped us this week to a smoking room.

What the hell is the use of a reservation if they won’t honor it? We were “upgraded” to a handicapped room with broken furniture and not the best heater system.

If you visit Fayetteville, NC DON’T stay at the Holiday Inn Bordeaux!

Here’s my review: The front/new part are ok, the rooms are dark, the front desk people have lousy attitude, and they don’t honor non-smoking rooms reservation.

On the other hand (not a big hand): Theres free high speed internet and one of the front desk ladies Tiffany, looks like an Asian the Olsen twins. Minus the emaciated look.

Wii-erd

We just got a Nintendo Wii yesterday, thanks to an early morning phone call from Tom.

My arms hurt last night after 2 hours of Wii-ing.

Its a really weird feeling with the motion sensitive controllers. We love the Wii Sports. Our 4 year old actually beat us in Bowling.

Damn Cable (Ethernet)!

As I was struggling with network issues at home for the last 4 days. I was getting quite slow Internet speed. 192K down and 72 up was the max
Blaming/Discussing/Ranting about everything from bad box, switch, router, FXS, and who knows what else. It ended up that the main culprit was a cheap cable!

My thanks to the patient tech James at Comcast. He was astute enough to realize the issues and was blessed with great step by step processes to figure out what was wrong.

My blazing speed is back!

That’s why, you shouldn’t steal:

Cell Phones, New Cars with GPS, Laptops.

They’re all super traceable and remotely dis-able-label…
