Company Golf Outing

Well it took a good semi-stacked team but we finally managed to TIE the SB team. In a score card playoff they won. But we felt that it was probably a somewhat hollow victory for them. We were both 10 under par. Together with Wifey, Tom and Jim we held our own.

Hywell’s team stacked with my Dad and Darwin were one back. I was also surprised that they didn’t take any prizes.

Wifey took home BOTH the two ladies long drives. Both mine went a little awry, crumbled under the pressure. I take consolation that winning one woundn’t look so good as there we also won second.

I’ll say this again this year, I don’t want to plan this for next year! Let see how this works out.

The course again was excellent in their work. They are definitely pros at this. Kudos to Michelle at Juday Creek Golf Course.

Its budget time!

Its budget time again, a very stressful time of year.

I usually ask the managers for their needs, but they’ve always claimed that they have what they need and then try to weasel some stuff next year claiming that they asked for it the previous year.

This year is different. If they want it they budget it.

This should be a fun year. With all the bad news in this industry, I wonder what our outlook is like for 2006.

Detroit City Mens Amateur Part Deux

Shot an 81 today. Not too bad but could have done better. I have a two day total of 159.

Best scores in 5 years for me. So I go home happy.

Excellent Round

I shot a 78 today at the Detroit Mens Am. An even par 36 for the front nine and a so-so 42 on the back with 2 double bogeys. Bleach!

We’re now off to go meet a friend at Buca de Beppo’s. This tripis all about the golf and food!
