Golf Rules!
Some days it doesn’t pay to pick up the sticks to hit a little yellow ball. Yesterday, was a good day.
A 35 (1 under-par) was my reward to not try stupid stuff. Ok, so I did bogey a hole because I tried to hit a hit Sand wedge and ending up blading the silly ball.
This was the second under par 9-holes I’ve shot. Many even pars but the elusive under-pars are tough to come by when you think about it during play.
Strange Dream
I dreamt that I was in Malaysia and a TV company asked me come in for an interview.
When I got there the interviewer said that I have to go stay at a hotel in the forest for where the interview was going to be held at the next day.
The subject “Depletion of the Rain Forest” and I had to do it in Malay…
Must have been those Margaritas…
JVC part Deux
Well, I ordered a new camera this time from 6Ave.com.
The price was good, but just a while ago I got a call from them to call them to “verify” the order. When will they understand that this defeats the purpose of the online ordering process?
I knew this was a “lets sell them some more stuff”call. I said no thanks to the outrageous “deal”. Funny thing was that, I could get a “$400 savings” for this camera that includes an extra battery and 5 TAPES. BTW, this camera uses a built-in HD.
Dim Sum
We had dim sum this morning in Grand Rapids. I wish there was one in Kalamazoo.
The drive, at 30 minutes, isn’t really that bad but I would definitely go more often if it was in town.
The folks ordered Chicken’s Feet. I normally won’t have a problem with it but it looked kinds ghoulish and a little unappealing. Later we went to this place called Horrocks, kind of a large greenhouse and supermarket.
