Losing your baggage doesn’t phase you.
My Folks arrived last night, sans baggage. Didn’t really bug them. They just stared sniggering at the couple of people having a hissy fit.
We calmly walked up to the UA desk and gave them our tickets, left a phone number and went home.
Their flight was also early, they were actually waiting for their luggage when we arrived…. oops! My second bad..
Well, I made a small boo boo. My folks were supposed to be here on Saturday.
Unfortunately, I made a small 24 hour mistake. Since they are half a world away +13 time zones/hours ahead. I assumed erroneously that if they took off at 9am on Friday there, they would be here on Saturday.
No thanks to the Intl Date line, leaving at 9am on friday is the same as leaving at 8pm Thursday.
